The original production summary sheet reads as follows: Part 1, Rangers descend nets in debarkation drills at Camp Gordon, Ga. An amphibious landing is made; troops run through barbed wire. Part 2, James Forrestal awards an "E" to a family in Cos Cob, Conn., for their home machine-tool production. Part 3, an Army nurse relates her Corregidor experiences. Shows Japanese bombing of Manila and U.S. prisoners on Bataan. (Reel 2) Shows a convoy in the Pacific. Part 4, WAC's are reviewed by Gen. Marshall, Sec. Stimson, and Col. Oveta Hobby. Brief scenes show various duties of WAC's and dramatize recruiting and induction. Part 5, Pvt. Snafu (animated), placed in charge of a camp, permits discipline to break down; the enemy attacks unopposed.

Oveta Culp Hobby (January 19, 1905 – August 16, 1995) was the first secretary of the U.S. Department of Health, Education and Welfare, first director of the Women's Army Corps, and a chairperson of the board of the Houston Post.
